A large-format nighttime show where acrobatics, music, dance, and audiovisual production turn a night club night into pure entertainment.
Coco Bongo is difficult to compare with a traditional nightclub. Its proposition combines party and show within a continuous production where music, performances, acrobatics and visual effects follow one another for several hours. The stage constantly changes between aerial numbers, performances inspired by popular culture and moments where the entire space once again operates as a huge dance floor. Its scale and energy inevitably make it one of the most recognizable nightlife experiences in Playa del Carmen. It is touristic, spectacular and deliberately excessive. To pretend otherwise would be quite creative, even for an editorial guide. Coco Bongo represents that side of Playa that seeks a night turned into an event: lights, music, confetti and entertainment well into the early hours of the morning.
