Heart of the Sea brings together in one place the work of artists, artisans, and small independent projects, turning a shopping trip into an opportunity to discover part of Playa del Carmen's creative community. In its corners appear clothing and beachwear, jewelry, accessories, macramé, decoration, candles, natural cosmetics, crystals, and small objects created by different brands and local hands. The selection changes and evolves, making touring the space part of the experience. Its bohemian and relaxed spirit deliberately moves away from mass-produced souvenir stores. Here every object can have a creator, a technique, and a story behind it, while workshops and activities help keep the project’s communal character alive.
