El Árbol de la Diez
Craft beer, mezcal, wine and small plates come together under a tree in the center of Playa at a simple bar made for slow drinking.
The Tree of the Ten takes its name from something quite literal: the tree beside which the small space on 10th Street was born. That simplicity also defines much of its personality.
The menu gathers craft beer, mezcal, tequila, and wine, accompanied by cheeses, Iberian cured meats, empanadas, and small dishes designed for sharing.
Rather than following a single tradition, it functions as a small international bar where a Mexican beer can coexist with Iberian ham or an Argentine empanada without too many formalities.
It is informal, social, and easy to incorporate into an afternoon or evening walk through the center. A place that reminds us that a good bar does not necessarily need twenty bartenders, smoke rising from the glasses, and a seven-minute explanation before the first sip.
