Ola 'Ola
A small tiki-inspired cocktail bar where technique, spirits, and tropical flavors create one of the most intimate mixology experiences in Playa.
Ola ’Ola leads tiki culture toward a more contemporary and Mexican territory. It is a small space, hidden a few steps from the center’s movement, built mainly around the bar and a signature cocktails menu.
Classics reinterpreted coexist with tropical creations where rum, mezcal, fruits, spices and more unexpected combinations appear. The focus is especially on the balance of each drink, avoiding turning the tropical into a mere collection of excessively sweet cocktails.
The reduced space is part of the experience. Music, decoration and a nearby bar create a much more intimate atmosphere than that of the large tourist venues of Playa.
Ola ’Ola works especially well to start or end the night calmly: few places, good spirits and bartenders who make the preparation of the cocktail the true centerpiece of the visit.
