Punta Corcho

A contemporary seafood restaurant where Mexican flavors, fresh ingredients, and creative cooking come together in Puerto Morelos.

Located in front of the Puerto Morelos waterfront, Punta Corcho is a gastronomic proposal by chef Daniel Ovadía that celebrates the products of the Mexican Caribbean through wood-fired cooking. From its open second-floor space, with a palapa roof and sea views, the restaurant combines contemporary techniques with flavors deeply linked to Mexican tradition.

The wood-fired oven is one of the major protagonists of its cuisine, imparting smoked aromas to fish, seafood and various preparations of sea and land. Among its specialties are ceviches, tiraditos and aguachiles, in addition to creations such as roasted octopus gorditas with green sauce and quesillo. Its proposal blends sea ingredients with Mexican recipes reinterpreted creatively.

The experience is complemented by a selection of signature cocktails, mezcal, wines and Mexican craft beers. The sea breeze, the views of the coast and the terrace atmosphere create a special setting to enjoy a quiet meal or a dinner accompanied by original flavors.

Recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, Punta Corcho has established itself as a gastronomic reference in Puerto Morelos. Its combination of wood-fired cooking, seafood products and a privileged location makes it a standout choice for those who want to discover a contemporary interpretation of Mexican Caribbean cuisine.
